Description Andrew 2008-05-22 06:04:18 UTC
http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Talk:HowTo_Compile_In_Debian

Compilation of aMule 2.2.0 pre 20080304 fails with the error:
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.2/../../../../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lcryptopp

This error is discussed in the URL on the first line of this section.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge amule
2. ???
3. Don't profit.

I'm unsure what exact version provides the fix, but updating dev-libs/crypto++ from 5.2.1 to 5.5.2 fixed the problem.
