Description Beowulf 2003-06-05 15:02:14 UTC
Current version in Portage is: nwwine-20020703

The latest version is nwwine-based-on-20030508. Could whoever the new
maintainer is please update the ebuild?

I tried, but could not get it to download without hardcoding the filename in the
SRC_URI...

Thanks

According to http://nwwine.sourceforge.net/download.html, the latest version
of nwwine is still nwwine-20020703. I think the version you're talking
about is by a different author. Seems like nwwine development has stopped.
http://republika.pl/nwnlinux/ gives some background on the version you're
talking about I believe. Maybe a new package name is in order...It seems like
a complicated situation.

hmm... should i submit a request for new ebuild? Or edit this one?
Comment 3 Alex Veber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-06-24 16:25:28 UTC
Is nwwine even needed now that we have a final native version?
Comment 4 Alex Veber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-06-24 16:27:49 UTC
scratch that, I see nwwine can run the toolset, as far as I know the native client cant.
I will update the ebuild.
