when trying to configure xine engine parameters in kaffeine.

this does not occur when a video is playing however.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open kaffeine
2.go to settings>xine engine parameters (when there is no video playing)
3.kaffeine crashes

Actual Results:  
kaffeine crashes and the KDE crash handler appears

Expected Results:  
the xine config window should appear.

Could you please re-test if this is still an issue for you with kaffeine-0.8.7?

it seems to be fixed but i can't be sure what fixed it. my guess is a xine-lib update since i haven't noticed it in a while with kaffeine 0.8.6. it doesn't occur with kaffeine 0.8.7 either. so i must have been with xine-lib or something else. 

truth be told i have been using kplayer mainly.
since using xv with kafeine with the xv driver crashes X frequently. but I'd bet that is an issue with the ati-drivers sine xshm works but with lousy performance.
