Stable on amd64.

x86: This is ready to be stabilised. The ebuild supports Bioperl's test suite. A few tests are expected to fail:

Failed Test Stat Wstat Total Fail List of Failed
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
t/Biblio_eutils.t 5 1 6
t/BioFetch_DB.t 27 2 8 27
t/DB.t 84 1 24
t/EMBL_DB.t 15 1 6
t/OntologyStore.t 6 4 3-6
t/SeqHound_DB.t 15 1 1
t/chaosxml.t ?? ?? ??

These involve network/database access and storage, which is not available unless you take the time to configure it, and not used by the vast majority of users. (Chaosxml tests are broken.)
