Bug 22270 – Gnokii-0.5.1 has been released for awhile now

I just downloaded the tarball into /usr/portage/distfiles and copied the ebuild
file to version gnokii-0.5.1.ebuild (& added the md5 digest).

It compiled file with the old original ebuild file without any editing and the
build appears to work just fine for the past several hour.

Please note!  the current version in gentoo is atleast a year or more old!  This
package should really be updated (as it includes support for many new mobile
phones and many bug fixes).

(Eh, guess the main issue is that my Nokia 8290 will not work with the old
version...lol. nm. i already have gnokii-0.5.1 installed anyways.)

Ebuild file for gnokii-0.5.1 (copy of gnokii-0.4.3.ebuild file with minor changes noted below)

This is an ebuild file for gnokii-0.5.1 (It's just a copy of the
gnokii-0.4.3.ebuild file).

Changes:
Docs/ (I added 3-4 new docs and removed several Docs from the old 0.4.3 dodocs
list)
Docs/man/ (no new man files)

Everything appears to work fine with my Nokia 8290.  (oh, did i mention that i
require 0.5.3 to provide support for my Nokia 8290?...matter of fact, we got
support for my 8290 a year ago...so many many new changes with this Gnokii
version!  -- GET IT INTO THE Portage Tree! ;-)

Added notes on my changes and gave credit to myself ;-)  .. if want, you can
ommit  my email address and just make reference to my firstname.  or whatever
is appropriate.

I looked over the Changelog and have done a diff on 0.5.1 & 0.5.2 releases and there are no new docs files.  0.5.2 compared to 0.5.1 seems to be only bug and coding updates.

Again, should build find with the old ebuild file after changing the version numbers.

ok. just confirmation that it builds nicely...will test gnokii-0.5.2 tomorrow with my nokia 8290 mobile phone.
