Since we've got nice OpenMosix integration now with Gentoo, it'd be useful to have some apps to demonstrate your cluster with once it's built. PMV-POV is a great parallel raytracer that'll take advantage of any Mosix cluster, so if someone with a little knowledge could produce an ebuild for it, that'd be fantastic. :)
tantive: wanna try ?
I've done the source build, it wasn't that hard, I just don't know anything about writing proper ebuilds. (I can make 'em, but they don't look anything like the official Gentoo ones, and they certainly aren't as robust ;) )
so it would be great if you could post that ebuild, i'll have a look at it and check it in if it works
Alright, I haven't had much time under Linux at work recently, but I'll see what I can do.
i'll take a look at this, too - sounds like ... fun. :)

I recently checked in the ebuild! Jean-François: Thanks for your submission! (didn't you talk about doing an mpi-povray ebuild, too? ;) )
