The example commands given fro the initial emerge sync in install.txt on the basic LiveCD do not match those given in the on-line installation guide. These shold be made consistant. Also as changes tend to happen before all documents can be updated which ever is more likely to be current should state that it is the authoritative guide.
I think we've seen a similar bug previously. This is due to the fact that the online documentation gets updated on an on-going basis, versus the LiveCD documentation that only gets updated with a new release (right?). Any objections to adding a note to the install doc stating that the online version is always the one most up-to-date? As usual, unless I hear something negative, I'll get it changed in a couple of days.
