Ebuild exists in the Ycarus overlay:

http://gentoo-overlays.zugaina.org/mpd/media-sound.html.en#ario

but it uses subversion though. I'll attach an ebuild with tests that uses releases.

A few issues:
1. Had a semi bad fix for libsoup-2.4; according to the developer it was incorporated in the releases, but it doesn't work without Sed Fix. With libsoup 2.2 eautoreconf works
2. Audioscrobbler support doesn't work
3. I think have all the dependencies

New version from upstream that addressed libsoup issue.  Attaching ebuild for version 1.1.

Tested on x86 with gcc-4.2.4 + 4.3.1 and glibc-2.8_p20080602-r0
