FWIW I just tired this ebuild and got this error...

install -d /usr/sbin
ACCESS DENIED chmod: /usr/sbin
install: cannot change permissions of `/usr/sbin': Permission denied
make: *** [install] Error 1

!!! ERROR: net-dialup/xtradius-1.2.1 failed.
!!! Function src_install, Line 26, Exitcode 2
!!! (no error message)

Comment 3 Mark Constable 2005-01-14 06:57:31 UTC
I would just like to report that I have now built this
package at least 4 times during 2004 including on a an
amd64 server.

Is there any reason why this ebuild is not being incldued
in the mainstream Gentoo system ?
Comment 4 Jay Pfeifer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-20 21:32:25 UTC
there hasn't been a new release in almost 3 years. also there have been no adds to their cvs in almost 3 years. that tells me it isn't supported/advanced upstream.
Comment 5 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-11 04:51:41 UTC
This is apparently no longer maintained upstream, closing as WONTFIX.
