Bug 22092 – Add orinoco-patch to kernel for monitoring mode

For switching a recent Airport card into monitoring mode you have to assign the
patch available at http://airsnort.shmoo.com/orinoco-0.13b-patched.diff

It would be cool, when you update the patch in the patches-2.4.20-ppc file.  The
given URL above describes the problem with the airport cards.

This has been in since at 2.4.20-ppc-r3, and is also in 2.4.21-ppc-r1 if you care to test that out :)

I checked the patch-file and it seems, that this channel-hopper-patch isn't included.  Without that the Airport card will stop cycling through the channels after a few turns.  In the 0.13b-patch of the orinoco-card that patch is included. 

So, this is just a question for upgrading the patch ;-)

Did you upgraded this patch for the 2.4.21-kernel?  I only checked the 2.4.20-r4.

I will put this into 2.4.21-ppc-r2, unless it's really critical.

2.4.21-2 is out, so I guess this must be included, can you test if it is, if not reopen this bug?
