I think that including the ReiserFS quota support option in the stock Gentoo kernel would be great. I use Reiser on all of my partitions and would love to be able to restrict my users' disk usage while reaping the benefits of the Gentoo patches. It'd be great if you could add this.
Alright, I'm on it.
Created attachment 1640 [details] quota-patches.tar.bz2 - reiserfs quota patches for mjc-sources contents of quota-patches.tar.bz2: quota-patches/ quota-patches/63_reiserfs-quota-22 quota-patches/64_kinoded-8-2.4.19-pre3 quota-patches/62_nesting-10-2.4.19-pre3 It compiles, but I can't test it as I don't use Reiser nor quota.
I'll try to get that tested on a vmware install or something asap.
soon as I hear about stability, I'll drop it in.
Seems to work normally. Thanks a bunch!
Just to get it off my bug list, and so you don't forget :)
styx, do what you need to to close this out, please
Styx, can you try and look a patch homepage for these, I prefer to work from original sources.
We're working on -ac sources now, IIRC alan has reiser quota. I'll look into it though.
