oops, my bad... had to rebuild libgeda first... but... one question though... Why wouldn't revdep-rebuild catch this? Should I bug-report this failure from revdep-rebuild? I will close this bug as invalid after I get a response! Thanks in advance
revdep-rebuild checks for missing libraries, but neither checks symbols, nor can it "know" which symbols a to be installed application will need. What did you do? Updating, a rebuild or did you run `emerge --nodeps geda` maybe?
it broke when I updated some library it depended on, revdep-rebuild found that it doesn't work anymore and tried to rebuild geda... but failed... i rebuilt the needed library and rebuilt geda and it worked
