ebuild?

Hey Ali,
 sure you can. As it isn't mirrored officially I put this in to avoid the error resulting from that. If it reaches the portage this should be removed.

2.7.x is a development series, as Justin noted in comment #0. I'm not sure whether we want to get into adding those into the main tree, unmasked. I have a copy in my personal overlay now, and I think perhaps it should go into the science overlay (just forgot how to commit to it).

There is a reason, why I committed this version, but I forgot to mark the dependency.
