I've received new ips from my ISP and I have assigned a new ip for my Gentoo rsync mirror (rsync1.nl.gentoo.org): 81.173.7.182 Could you update the dns record and add 81.173.7.180 to the accesslist at rsync1.us.gentoo.org without removing 81.23.237.217 ? I will notice you when I switch the server totally to the new ip range. At the moment, people can connect to the rsync mirror by two ips: 81.23.237.230 (old) and 81.173.7.182 (new). Thanks a lot. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
We're not 100% sure on what IP goes where, so can you answer the following questions: * what IP(s) need to be able to sync against rsync1.us.gentoo.org * what IP(s) will clients use to access your mirror? Thanks.
* what IP(s) need to be able to sync against rsync1.us.gentoo.org - 81.23.237.217 ( existing ) and 81.173.7.180 ( new ). I will disable 81.23.237.217 soon and then you can remove it from the rsync1.us accesslist. * what IP(s) will clients use to access your mirror? from now on: 81.173.7.182
OK, new IPs added. 81.173.7.180 for rsync1.us access and 81.173.7.182 is accessible via rsync.nl and rsync.europe. When the old IPs go away, it'll move to rsync1.nl. Resolving this as "REMIND". Let us know when you want the other IPs removed.
Old ips are now removed.
