Gordon gonna join the hardened herd, working on hardened-sources. Thus, he's gonna become an ebuild developer. solar and I am going to mentoring him.
When approved by your mentors, quizzes to recruiters@gentoo.org and then contact me via IRC or email to schedule the first review session.

Ebuild quiz reviewed. We will have a second review session when end quiz is approved by phreak and I asked Gordon to do the ebuild cleanup assignment before that review.
End quiz and ebuild cleanup assignment sent to recruiters@g.o. Will contact Betelgeuse (probably on FreeNode) for my next review soon. Or feel free to ping me any time, I'll respond if I'm around.

What we did: - LDAP - gentoo-core - bugzilla - cvs/svn groups on cvs.gentoo.org - IRC-cloak - #gentoo-dev channel access - sent you your LDAP/mail password via encrypted mail Still to be done: - IRC-cloak (waiting for tomaw to wake up) - announcement (will do this later today) What you need to do: - subscribe to mailing lists with @gentoo.org address - request forum status bump in #gentoo-forums or by mail to forum-mods@gentoo.org (if you have a forums count) - send yourself mail to create .maildir - add yourself to mail aliases ( like java@gentoo.org ) see /var/mail/alias on dev.gentoo.org - ask team leads to add yourself to herds.xml for the herds you want to join or do it yourself if you have the permission to do so - set lat and lon attributes in LDAP if you want others to know where exactly you are located - set gentooIM if you want people to be able to contact you via other means than email For the mentor: - You are also responsible for the commits of your recruit during the first month so you should watch the commits of your recruit via gentoo-commits mailing list.

Reopening as Gordon has been inactive for more than 2 months. - Last (viewable) bugzilla activity: 235611: 2010-10-12 15:29:04 - Last CVS activity: 2010-04-14T20:41Z First email sent today.
Gordon promised to resume work on Gentoo soon.
Still inactive (since 2010), reopening then
Please do retire me. I can retest and rejoin if life makes me available to work on Gentoo again someday. :) I do have open Bug 497596 which still concerns me, as this concerns Gentoo infrastructure as well. If someone could assist in getting that bug report to the right place on my way out that would be cool.
Thanks for feedback and good luck. Regarding the bug report, I would try to go to IRC and try to ping current maintainers, maybe they could review it more quickly :/
infra auto-retire script fired on dev, 2014/12/29.
