Searched in Portage (app-editors), and no "j". "j" is a Java-based flexible GUI-based editor with support for editing Java, PHP, Perl, Lisp, C, C++, HTML, etc. Apologies if this is a dupe. Current version is 0.19.0.
Created attachment 21237 [details] "j" ebuild The attached file is an ebuild for app-editors/j-0.20.2. Be aware, however, that this is my first attempt to create an ebuild so it might not be perfect :-).
Hi. I'd like to make a request that whoever fixes this makes a note in the description that it includes ABL (Armed Bear Lisp). It is a Lisp implentation on the way to being ANSI common lisp compliant and is highly useful in its own right, without the J editor.
Created attachment 23537 [details] adjusted ebuild (j-0.20.2.ebuild) corrected SRC_URI, fixed DESCRIPTION to note inclusion of ABL, uses virtual/jdk, added optional support for xerces, added java-config sanity checks, added dodoc for COPYING. I would suggest that J be placed in dev-util as it includes Armed Bear Lisp, just as eclipse is an editor that includes swt.
In portage, thanks guys!
