VideoLanClient is a software used to broadcast multimedia contents like videos. Developed by "Ecole Centrale Paris", it is compatible with many codecs and available for several platforms like Windows and Linux. The reason why we chose VLC as a starting base for our application is because of this compatibility and also because it is an open-source software. VLVC will be a module included inside VLC to add videoconference features. Its purpose is to allow a large number of users to access these features thanks to a free and open-source licence, as well as to use VLC to be compatible with as many platforms as possible. To build this module we need to patch VLC sources and I think adding an -vlvc use to the VLC media player would be a good way to enable it. Reproducible: Always
