On my Amd64 system (M2N-VM DVI motherboard with Nvidia GeForce 7050PV/nForce 630A chipset, Installer fails to start Xwindows.

Xorg log attached 

Temp work around  edit Xorg.conf to "vesa" from "nv" driver, restart gdm

Strange.  We should already be using vesa over nv on amd64/x86.  I'll check it, again, and see what isn't working properly.

I've verified the problem exists on my laptop as well (Lenovo Thinkpad Model T61p - Machine Type/Model = 6457/B51 - Intel T7700(2.4GHz) Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, 256MB nVIDIA Quadro FX 570M).

This bug also exists on 2008-r1 AMD64 livecd
