Description Bryant Hansen 2008-04-28 12:06:36 UTC
The kernel I'm using is gentoo-sources-2.6.24-r4

My top-most build errors when compiling sys-fs/cloop-2.05 are:

make[1]: *** [_module_/var/tmp/portage/sys-fs/cloop-2.05/work/cloop-2.05~20060829] Error 2

There are newer versions of cloop available, which should be used for this kernel version. I've tried one out already; it builds, installs, and loads, but I haven't tested it yet.

I posted notes about making an ebuild for this in the following forum post:

It seems that I'd overlooked the more recent ebuild, cloop-2.624.ebuild, which *is* compatible with 2.6.24-r4.
