the dev-util/cvsps-2.1 utility seems to lack the ~x86-macos keywoard (the ~ppc-macos keyword is present) even though it emerges fine on mac os X intel based computers. I didn't locate any information on why that one was missing, so I assume that this was a mistake.

it's not a mistake or something, it's just never been tested.  Added ~x86-macos, thanks!
