Description Olaf Olafson 2003-05-30 05:46:35 UTC
The America's Army GameCD provided by www.gentoogames.com is great for people
new to Linux (gaming) and/or Gentoo Linux. For the people who already enjoy the
quality of Gentoo on their harddisk the GameCD is not always the best way to
enjoy the game. For example; for me it's neccessary to set the game/sound/X-
settings on every restart. It's also not possible to run other installed
programs at the same time. Therefore I want to request an ebuild for America's
Army in the portagetree. Unfortunately creating the ebuild myself is way out of
my league.

Reproducible: Always

Thanks to America's Army being officially released today by icculus.org, I am working on this ebuild as we speak.

all i can say is this thing is a beast

i reworked your ebuild ... tweaked the src_unpack part of it mostly ...

i left out the .desktop thing because i'm working on a games.eclass addition that'll
make shortcuts for gnome/kde/etc... automagically
