I've run emerge --sync a few minutes ago, then I tried eclean-dist and I got a lot of errors:

yesterday, I got digest verification failure for kmplayer when trying to do emerge -uDN world

the problem is appearing very often these days, while I do not remember observing it in the past (like a year ago)

please could you somehow make sure that the portage tree is in a sane state after successful sync?

That rang a bell, so I checked the logs. I'm seeing do digest verification failures myself, mind you, but it seems strange that nixnut was the last to touch each of those ebuilds:
[18:24] <CIA-28> nixnut * gentoo-x86/app-text/a2ps/ (ChangeLog a2ps-4.13c-r6.ebuild): Stable on ppc wrt bug 212050
[19:23] <CIA-28> nixnut * gentoo-x86/media-sound/herrie/ (ChangeLog herrie-2.0.ebuild): Stable on ppc wrt bug 218645
[20:16] <CIA-28> nixnut * gentoo-x86/media-sound/noteedit/ (ChangeLog noteedit-2.8.1-r1.ebuild): Stable on ppc wrt bug 218732
[20:29] <CIA-28> nixnut * gentoo-x86/app-portage/kuroo/ (ChangeLog kuroo-0.81_rc1.ebuild): Stable on ppc wrt bug 218768

Already fixed by zmedico. Resync.

Reopen if other packages are failing.
