Created attachment 153045 [details, diff] paste-1.6-sandbox.patch I can't reproduce the problem here. Can you try the attached patch and check if it fixes the problem? Thanks.
I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. And now I must admit I still don't know how to patch ebuilds. Do I simply copy this patch to the files directory for the ebuild? I just tried this, and of course, I got this error: !!! A file is not listed in the Manifest: '/usr/portage/dev-python/paste/files/paste-1.6-sandbox.patch' So I would appreciate knowing how to do this. Please advise. Thank you, Shingoshi

I greatly appreciate the instructions on how to fix this. The digest complaint went away as you intended. But now, here's the results I get from this: --------------------------- ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY --------------------------- LOG FILE = "/var/log/sandbox/sandbox-1344.log" open_wr: /root/.gconf/.testing.writeability unlink: /root/.gconf/.testing.writeability open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state open_wr: /root/.gconfd/saved_state.tmp -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm going to post the log with this. Although, it only has repeated lines of what you see above. Shingoshi
Created attachment 153201 [details] paste.sandox.log Nothing is really here.
I greatly appreciate your instructions on how to fix this. But as you can see from what's been posted now, nothing has changed. Shingoshi

This bug seems only to occur, if the package is compiled with "doc" flag. I can reproduce it. And hawking's patch fixes it for me :)
Cannot reproduce here. Tried variations of the useflags, can't trigger it. Please reopen when you can provide me with a testcase
