paste-1.6-sandbox.patch

I can't reproduce the problem here. Can you try the attached patch and check if
it fixes the problem? Thanks.
Comment 3 Xavian-Anderson Macpherson 2008-05-15 06:19:43 UTC
I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. And now I must admit I still don't know how to patch ebuilds. Do I simply copy this patch to the files directory for the ebuild? I just tried this, and of course, I got this error:
!!! A file is not listed in the Manifest: '/usr/portage/dev-python/paste/files/paste-1.6-sandbox.patch' So I would appreciate knowing how to do this.

Please advise.

Thank you,
Shingoshi

Do,
ebuild paste-1.6.ebuild digest
and try again.

I greatly appreciate the instructions on how to fix this. The digest complaint went away as you intended. But now, here's the results I get from this:

I'm going to post the log with this. Although, it only has repeated lines of what you see above.

Everything in one file.
Comment 9 René 'Necoro' Neumann 2008-07-11 23:28:02 UTC
This bug seems only to occur, if the package is compiled with "doc" flag. I can reproduce it.

And hawking's patch fixes it for me :)
Comment 10 Patrick Lauer gentoo-dev 2009-04-01 13:32:51 UTC
Cannot reproduce here.

Tried variations of the useflags, can't trigger it.

Please reopen when you can provide me with a testcase
