I have set up a rsync mirror (located in Germany). If there is need for another one, please check and feel free to include in mirror list.
OS: Ubuntu 6.06 LTS
AMD Opteron 246 (2x), 4 GB RAM, 20 GB (for mirrors)
Access rsync://www.jup-coburg.de/gentoo-portage

As the bug was opened one month and there was also no traffic, I shut down the mirror. If there is need for another mirror, please tell me, then I will reopen.

Mirror up and running again. At the moment only for our internal use and only syncs once a day (due to netiquette).
BTW: Changed the OS to Gentoo Hardened ;)

Jens-Uwe, Currently 13 mirrors in the de rotation. You won't get any traffic until you get added in there. :) The mirror-admin team has been understaffed. If you would like to re-visit this, we can. Otherwise a local mirror, for internal use only is acceptable.
