The ebuild in the portage tree installs the include files but it misses to install the pkg-config files, which are located in build/unix/*.pc (after compiling). Therefore some applications/plugins that build against thunderbird won't compile/configure [e.g. blueZync/libopensync-plugin-mozilla from http://bluezync.kaarposoft.dk].

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Follow instructions on http://bluezync.kaarposoft.dk/building.html to manually build libopensync-plugin-mozilla.
2.Build script respectively cmake fails because pkg-config doesn't find thunderbird-xpcom

pkgconfig files have been drop'd in 3.0, no point in putting revision in tree that wont make it to stable ahead of 3.0
