I can successfully boot 2.6.23-hardened-r9, but when I boot using 2.6.24-hardened, I get the following message: RAMDISK: incomplete write (-28 != 32768) 8388608 I have the following in grub.conf: title linux root (hd0,0) kernel /boot/linux32/kernel root=/dev/evms/upe_root ramdisk=16384 initrd /boot/linux32/evms-2.5.3-initrd-x86.gz The initrd is only 16M in size, and the same image boots fine if kernel is 2.6.23-hardened-r9, but not 2.6.24-hardened. Could you try again with 2.6.24-r1 that is in the tree now? If it still doesn't work, could you try to provide more of the boot output, etc.?
2.6.24-r1 boots fine.
