Tomcat includes an Ant task for deploying servlets: /lib/catalina-ant.jar There doesn't seem to either be an ebuild for this and (in the worst case) this is not installed by the tomcat build.
This is indeed installed by the tomcat ebuild, in: /usr/share/tomcat-6/lib/catalina-ant.jar
Not sure what can be done here. I do not plan to package that task on it's own. Unless several ebuilds need it, and have no use for the rest of Tomcat. No time in the near future. Likely close for now as invalid. Can re-open with a split ebuild, or etc package request for that task. If/when several ebuilds can use it.
