Hi- emerge -S returns errors, asks that I report these errors. I searched for mycpv, psplit, etc keywords, and didn't find them mentioned. I emerge sync'd 2003-05-27, and also updated then to portage 2.0.48. Since then this problem has been happening. emerge info follows the error report. Let me know if there's more information I can provide. ==================== error report ==================== bash-2.05b$ sudo emerge -S mozilla Password: Searching... Nick: any news on this ?

I submitted the bug 21575 which has been marked as a duplicate of this one. I upgraded portage from 2.0.48 to 2.0.48-r1 the 2003/06/10, and forget about this bug. But now i recall it, it seems the bug has disappeared :-) I tried a few 'emerge -S xxx' commands, without seeing the previous errors asking to be reported. I leave it as NEW, but maybe someone more competent than me would decide it is resolved. (Sorry for my poor english)
2.0.48-r1 fixes this
