Description Charles Clément 2008-04-21 08:00:40 UTC
After emerging mtools, running mcopy complains with :
Syntax error at line 3 column 0 in file /etc/mtools/mtools.conf: unrecognized keyword

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
The third line,
SAMPLE FILE
produces the syntax error

Expected Results:
mcopy should run fine, maybe ask the user to edit the configuration file or add a sed command in the ebuild to change the default mtools.conf, to comment the above-mentioned line.
Comment 1 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-04-21 14:38:59 UTC
head -n 3 /etc/mtools/mtools.conf
# Example mtools.conf files. Uncomment the lines which correspond to
# your architecture and comment out the "SAMPLE FILE" line below
SAMPLE FILE

OK, then maybe the ebuild can print a message after installation stating that the user have to edit the configuration file.
