Description Ortwin Glueck 2008-04-20 16:59:06 UTC
Hi,

Attached is an ebuild for the KDE port of the Gnome HAL device manager application. Would be cool to have it in the portage tree.

The package actually wants to use kdepyuic, but the current stable pykde package is not recent enough to contain this utility. Instead I am using plain pyuic and adding the KDE import statement manually. If someone has a cleaner solution let me know. Maybe the KDE eclass support can be improved. Suggestions are welcome.

Cheers

Ortwin

Bugger, the pykde dependcy creates a dependency hell on sip. I guess pykde must be upgraded to support at least PyQt-3.14.1-r2 (and thus sip-4.2.1).

kde3-only, won't be fixed. if you find a kde4 version, open a new bug.
