The savage2-dedicated script should add this to the LD_LIBRARY_PATH: /opt/savage2/game
(To be able to start the savage2-dedicated server)

The current version is apparently 2.1.0.1: http://dl.heroesofnewerth.com/Savage2Install-2.1.0.1-x86_64.bin
The Savage2Install-2.1.0-x86_64.bin the ebuild downloads is not listed on the website anymore.

Does instalation of this game works for somone? All the time when i start game (from user), it wants to update, and i cant loging becase i need to cancel update. I did that line from elog ofcourse

I also had the problem of not being able to log in due to a stalled update. The dialog claims it is unable to write to the game folder, so presumably it is a permissions problem which I was unsure how best to resolve. Although it is probably not the correct way to do it, I ran the game as root until the update completed, quit and then restarted the game as my normal user
