Description Anders Rune Jensen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-05-28 09:42:33 UTC
It seems that there is a ipv6 option in xmms and if enabled it tries to
configure xmms with --enable-ipv6. But ipv6 is not included in xmms 1.2.7 and is
not in any of the patches. There is a patch here: http://www.version6.net/ that
enables ipv6. And it's even the --enable-ipv6 switch :) Please apply.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Expected Results:
working ipv6

Debian's ipv6 patch for xmms can be obtained here: http://debian.ipv6.btexact.com/debian-ipv6/dists/stable/ipv6/pool/xmms_1.2.7-1.ipv6.r1.diff.gz

in fact ipv6 support was present but only for x86 archs. I've tested it.
I added ipv6 support for every other arch in -r21.
