Hullo peeps. Please find attached an ebuild for cteddy 0.1, which is essentially a version of xteddy which works properly with compositing window managers (instead of showing a plain white window). I wrote this little program as part joke, part learning exercise, and partly out of genuine disappointment that nobody had fixed the aforementioned problem with the original; regardless, now that it has been released, Gentoo needs it. ;) I suggest x11-misc/cteddy. No upstream activity since version 0.3 in 2009 (not that one would expect any) and the copyright notice on the Web site hasn't been changed since 2014. Last but not least, I've just checked and it seems that xtedddy-2.2, already in the tree, hasn't got any issues with compositing window managers. Is there still any interest in having cteddy added? If not, I'll close this bug as WONTFIX in 30 days.
