How does it look for oo2.4 stabling?
(In reply to comment #1) > How does it look for oo2.4 stabling? > From my perspective: Good, biggest problems should already be sorted out, but I guess that depends on the different archs...

I wonder if this affects us: * CVE-2007-4770/4771: Manipulated ODF text documents containing XForms can lead to heap overflows and arbitrary code execution Because we fixed libicu ourselves. Does OO ship its own copy?
(In reply to comment #5) > /usr/bin/convert: error: `/usr/bin/.libs/convert' does not exist This is an media-gfx/imagemagick problem (bug #212566). try to remerge imagemagick and it should work again.

Does OO ship its own copy? > openoffice uses the libicu on the system (so shouldn't be affected by this particular one), but openoffice-bin uses the internal one (and is affected as a result)

dunno what that problem was about, but after updating the box openoffice compiled with same use flags as 2.3.x just fine - ppc stable therefore.
(In reply to comment #16) > dunno what that problem was about, but after updating the box openoffice > compiled with same use flags as 2.3.x just fine - ppc stable therefore. > I guess it could be related to some CFLAGS-handling changes we introduced recently, anyway: Great to hear that it works now (even without the old regcomp-hacks we had :) )
Fixed in release snapshot.

I get the same as in comment #5
seems that libtool installs /usr/bin/convert as a wrapper script for /usr/bin/.libs/convert and can't find it. Yet ImageMagick installs a /usr/bin/convert as well. Reinstalling imagemagick works, but what happens when/if libtool gets a bump again ?

Alex, without a full error log no one can tell you the reason for your build failure. Please open a new bug about it, search, or see if you just hit bug 212566.
Ahh, it was the imagemagick bug; thanks!
