Description Chris Upchurch 2008-04-16 23:59:45 UTC
After mounting a standard file-based volume created using v5.1a, the application freezes. This occured within minutes of mounting the volume. I was transferring files into the volume when the transfer rate gradually slowed to a halt. The application then froze and I was forced to reboot to solve the problem. I have tried using both stable sys-fs/fuse and testing versions.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Mount file-based volume and assign mountpoint (/mnt/foo).
2.Transfer files into volume as non-root user.

Actual Results:
Transfer rate slows to 0. Truecrypt app freezes along with associated application writing to the volume (in my case konqueror).

Expected Results:
Complete the transfer successfully and not freeze.

Please try to upgrade to latest fuse.
If that not work, please discuss this with upstream, I have no idea how to help you.

I am using latest fuse testing and stable versions and still having problems. Bug sent upstream, hoping to see results.
