I found a weekly snapshot site for xmms on the xmms forum,
I am not sure of these snapshots are someway used as patches 
in the current ebuild for xmms.

I think we have enough issues keeping xmms stable without changing it ever week!

Thanks for the pointer but i don't think i want to end up maintaining this.
