Version 1.8 of Freevo has been released. It works fine for me with modified ebuilds from 1.7.6.1. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce:

Actually I think that twisted (non "twister") is required. I tried to install freevo without twisted and it didn't work.
I went back and checked it. Your quite right. Twisted is definatly required. I miss read the release notes. It looks like twisted isn't used in the record server anymore, but is obviouly used else where.

The use "ivtv" is useless. tvtime is an optional, so it would be better to have a "tvtime" use to pull it in instead of an "ivtv" use to pull it out...
I've been using freevo-1.8.0 for quite some time, so much time that I believe it can be declared stable... How come that it isn't inside portage? Is this application receiving some attention at all?
