Hi, we've completed the steps on http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/source_mirrors.xml and we'd like to be added as official mirror.

Hi Lucian,

I just ran a check and you seem to be slightly lagged :

Current time in UTC is Wed Jun 11 09:00:19 UTC 2008

Please make sure you sync once every 4 hours as mentioned in the doc.

Also, can you give us some hardware specs and how many concurrent users you plan to support?

Hi. Indeed, the mirror script was running at 4 a.m. every day instead of every 4 hours. This has been fixed.
The machine is a Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU + 4 GB ram + ~ 1TB disk space available for mirrors. Apache is set up to use mpm worker and 1000 max clients.

I guess "xservers.ro gazduire web" will do just fine.
