The correct method of naming ebuild versions is packagename-version or packagename-YYYYMMDD (say, YYYYMMDD = 20080406)

Why not use x264-YYYYMMDD rather than x264-0.0.YYYYMMDD

Steps to Reproduce:

Actual Results:  
The media-libs/x264 ebuild has the name x264.0.0.YYYYMMDD

Expected Results:  
The media-libs/x264 ebuild must have the name x264.YYYYMMDD

Because we expect x264 to make a release at some point (0.9 or 1.0 or something). The current snapshots must be earlier versions than a future released version. That is why we chose to go with 0.0.<snapshot date>.
