Bug 216617 – stages directory is not the correct one

In http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?full=1#book_part1_chap5 , I can read:

"Move to the releases/x86/2008.0_beta1/stages/ directory. There you should see all available stage files for your architecture (they might be stored within subdirectories named after the individual subarchitectures). Select one and press D to download. When you're finished, press Q to quit the browser."

The problem is that proper dir is simply releases/x86/2008.0_beta1/ as "stages" subdir seems to not exist anymore (at least in ftp.free.fr and http://mirror.mcs.anl.gov/ mirrors)

Wrong, it's there. You just didn't bother to actually browse those mirrors.

Sorry 'bout that, thought you said that the files didn't exist at all!

It seems the directory structure has changed for this release; everything was dumped into the same dir. I've fixed this in our documentation; thanks for reporting.
