I just installed rubber and wanted to run it with texlive. So I installed on my (until now) tex-free system texlive instead of tetex. But running rubber fails because it states it could not run pdflatex. Reproducible: Always
Created attachment 148890 [details] Digitaltechnik.latex Try to compile this example with rubber -f -s --inplace -d "Digitaltechnik.latex" to reproduce the error.
Note: I'm using rubber 1.1 and texlive 2007-r3
Created attachment 148892 [details, diff] rubber-1.1-init.patch *sigh* I couldn't resist .... here's the necessary patch (stolen from Ubuntu)
ok this seems to be because the file you're working with is in a directory with spaces. If I put it in /tmp, its ok, if I put it in /tmp/foo\ bar, its not. lemme see if I can bump a newer version
bumped rubber-1.1_p20080323 please tell me if that fixes your problems; here it does
