Using LIRC_DEVICES="imon mceusb2", LIRC only builds the mceusb2 module. No errors are reported, but the imon module never gets built. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enter "imon mceusb2" as LIRC_DEVICES in make.conf 2. emerge lirc 3. modprobe lirc-imon Actual Results: FATAL: Module lirc_imon not found. Expected Results: Built and loaded both the lirc_imon and lirc_mceusb2 drivers. I can build both modules by compiling lirc twice, once with LIRC_DEVICES="mceusb2" and once with LIRC_DEVICES="imon", since the driver is not removed when I emerge the second time, but I don't believe this is correct behavior. If it is, lirc should report an error and die when trying to build it with more than one receiver driver.

This is an upstream issue. Complain to them that "--with-driver=imon --with-driver=mceusb2" does not work. Or better: convince them to make all stuff runtime configurable and delete all that ugly compile-time switches. By the way: The ebuild prints this message: * * When selecting multiple devices for lirc to be supported, * it can not be garanteed that the drivers play nice together. * * If this is not intended, then abort emerge now with Ctrl-C, * Set LIRC_DEVICES and restart emerge. You can try if LIRC_DEVICES="all" works.
