Is it possible to have a link in /etc dir?

ln -s /var/lib/postgresql/data/ /etc/postgres

There's lots of data in there that doesn't belong there and with slotted postgres ebuild i'll be even worse having to /etc/postgresXYZ symlinks or so.

Closing as won't fix, as I see no compelling reason.
