The link to the Gentoo Linux Handbook on the desktop of the live dvd fails to open. A pop-up appears with the following error:
Failed to open URL "file:///mnt/cdrom/docs/handbook/html/index.html".
The URL "file:///mnt/cdrom/docs/handbook/html/index.html" is not supported.

Thanks for pointing this out.  We didn't ship the Handbook on the CD/DVD media.  I'll change the link back to the online docs.

I've seen that the networkless installation handbook is present on the dvd, so it would be nice to have a link to it, and perhaps to the Getting_Online.txt on the root of the dvd as well.

Oh, and the README file in the docs folder still points you to the 2007.0 version of the online documentation.

I'm not sure if it's ok to point all those things in this thread or it would be better to file a new bug. I'd welcome advice.
