Looking at a couple of mirrors (OSU, UCSB, Datapipe), the hardened and experimental subdirectories in x86, hardened in amd64, and experimental in ppc all have forbidden messages.

Also, the current link still points at 2007.0.  Perhaps this should be updated to the latest beta.

I'm going to have a look at the permissions issue now, but 'current' will always point to the latest stable release - that part at least is intentional ;)

fixed on the master, something went weird with the scripts.

not changing the current/ link since we do know of bugs with 2008.0_beta1.
