Looks like his rsyncd is running as the same user as his fetch, which is not per the setup instructions. He's probably going to get a big blast of traffic when we flip the bit shortly.

I took his mirror out of the bouncer setup for the moment, but it would nice if he'd get it fixed well in time for the 2008.0 final.

This is exactly what was wrong with the mirror. I fixed the ownership of the mirrored files and changed the crontab so that a user different from the user running apache httpd will mirror the Gentoo repo.

Thanks for pointing out this problem. Please take a minute to check if the problem still persists. If so, please let me no; if not, please close this bug.

Check your crontabs please. The files should have gone live now, but aren't.

It needed one more run of the mirroring script. The files are live now, I checked :-D
