Description Greg Wiley 2003-05-23 12:26:14 UTC
In the exiscan-readme.txt.gz file, the
service configuration options for clamav
are listed as

exiscan_av_clamav_host
exiscan_av_clamav_port

In fact, these options are not legal. As far
as I can tell, the only allowed IPC for clamav
is UNIX socket, and the correct config option
is:

exiscan_av_clamd_socket

Note that the real option name contains
"clamd", not "clamav" as you might expect
from reading the text.

I've changed the Summary so that it refers to the only package I could find
in portage the seems to relate to this bug but I'm still not sure it's right.

I can't find this file in either source tarball for the two versions of
clamav in portage. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong package?

Greg, please post the package that you're referring to if this is still
an issue or let me know if I can just close this bug. Thanks.

Thanks, Mr. Bones-

Since the original exiscan patch is now
deprecated in favor of exiscan_acl, this
is no longer an issue. As far as I'm
concerned, this can be closed.

I know what to do about that then...
