Description Malte E. 2008-03-30 21:08:27 UTC
hamachi-gui is a fully functional and free GUI for Hamachi - alternative to ghamachi. It looks like hamachi on Windows.

Reproducible: Always

tested and working on amd64 and x86. hamachi does not work on other arches anyway.

I just added some changes as I noticed the ebuild wasn't finished, sorry ;)

version bump, added LINGUAS support
Comment 6 Alan Smithee 2010-01-02 18:09:01 UTC
i get this error message, because the gui wants to use "gksudo" to exec "tuncfg":

sh: gksudo: Command not found.

one solution would be to add x11-libs/gksu as dependence but i dont like to install whole gnome(libs) dependencies as long i am KDE user.
Comment 7 haarp 2010-01-23 23:45:46 UTC
Just put tuncfg into local.start. It won't eat any resources running in the background, so don't worry.

I just noticed that hamachi-gui segfaults for me once it manages to start hamachi. Anybody else experiencing this? AMD64
Comment 8 Gürkan 2010-05-25 10:08:46 UTC
Yep, taking segfaults after firs start..

Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild
submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely
manner. There are simply too many new packages.

Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The
sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to
commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry
into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this
and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =)

Thanks,
On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team,
Markos.
