Thanks
Comment 1 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-03-26 21:46:59 UTC
also it builds fine with FEATURES="test", the apps prints strange messages on exit which looks like some dbus client code crash. This app didn't have a release since about 2 years and that's for the devel branch. I'd say it's more a candidate to treecleaning.

@herd, what do you think ?
Comment 2 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-03-26 21:47:31 UTC
oh and besides the errors/crash on exit the app seems to be working fine.
Comment 3 Rémi Cardona (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-03-27 06:57:48 UTC
If it builds, why not :)
Comment 4 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-07-14 13:20:49 UTC
hi arches, please voice your opinion on the package, stabilize it or not, if nobody wants this crap anymore, I'll call in tree cleaners ;)

AMD64 AT Test Report

Compiles/Installs: Clean
Functionality: Works printssome errors to stderr about DBUS but I assume this is due to running in my stable chroot.

The error crash could easily be prevented at the cost of increasing the requirements for dbus, see http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=255750.

As long as it isn't broken, there should be no need to remove it from the tree. It's got a rather good review in http://www.techradar.com/news/internet/web/7-linux-web-editors-that-get-the-job-done-499389?artc_pg=4 lately.
