Description Markus Einsle 2008-03-24 10:35:15 UTC
Any (valid) matroska file containing one xvid video track and at least one ogg-vorbis audio track will play video, but no sound at all when playing via DVB.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. have a DVB board installed
2. have a valid matroska file "anything.mkv", containing one xvid video track and one ogg-vorbis audio track
3. type: /usr/bin/mplayer -vo mpegpes:card=1 -ao mpegpes:card=1 -vf scale=480:576,expand=480:576:-1:-1:1,lavc=5000:25 anything.mkv

Actual Results:
Video is playing well, but without sound.

The following messages can be seen during playback.

Expected Results:
Video and audio should play simultaneously (at least until a silent movie is played...)

I'm not sure, whether a matroska file containing a different audio format does show similar behaviour, as there's NO trouble playing avi containers (xvid/mp3).

Everythink had been working fine in previous versions, including mplayer-1.0_rc2_p24929-r2 (which unfortunately is no more available in the portage tree).

Old bug, please test and reopen if it's a problem with newer ( 1.0_rc2_p20090731 )
